Alfons is geboren in maart 1920 en begon intensief te fotograferen in 1979 met diapositief en kleurennegatief. In 1982 maakte hij zelf kleurafdrukken van dia's en later ook van kleurnegatief. Zijn liefde voor zwart-wit fotografie begon in 1984. Alfons is de fotograaf die alle chemische verbindingen en oude procédés heeft uitgetest en nu nog verschillende van deze oude technieken in zijn fotografie gebruikt. Hij houdt ervan te experimenteren. Ondertussen is Alfons ook volop digitaal bezig.

Alfons was born in March 1920 en he started intensively making pictures in 1979, with diapositives and colour negatives. In 1982 he made his own colour prints of diapositives and, later on, of colour negatives as well. His liking for black & white began in 1984. Alfons is the photographer who tried out all chemical compositions and old procedures and he's still using many of them is his actual photography. Experimenting is what he likes. Meanwhile Alfons has also gone digital.
