Jos woont in Rummen, volgde hoger technisch onderwijs richting elektronica aan het NaRaFi in Brussel en kwam daar via de medestudenten uit de foto/film richting voor het eerst in contact met de fotografie. Die interesse is altijd gebleven. Niet tegenstaande de drukke beroepsbezigheden als project manager voor internationale bouwprojecten in de milieusector laat hij geen gelegenheid onbenut om foto's te maken tijdens zijn buitenlandse reizen. Het compacte digitale toestel heeft een vaste plaats in de bagage. Het zwaardere fotomateriaal wordt boven gehaald voor het vastleggen van mensen met karakter, de natuur in alle seizoenen en voor de dierenwereld van groot tot klein.

Jos is living in Rummen, he enjoyed an electronics education at the NaRaFi technical highschool in Brussels. There he came in touch with photography for the first time by means of the photo/film students. This interest has always remained. Although having a busy job as project manager for international building projects in the environment sector, Jos doesn't lose any occasion to take pictures during his travels in foreign countries. A compact digital camera always makes part of his luggage. And the larger photographic stuff is used when picturing characteristic people, or the nature in any season, or animal life from large to small.
