Martin
woont in Hasselt en is afkomstig van Tongeren. Hij is
architect en beroepshalve technisch adviseur Benelux bij
een isolatieproducent. De fotomicrobe sloeg toe tijdens
buitenlandse reizen in de jaren ’90. Eind jaren
’90 was hij voorzitter van een Zuid-Limburgse
fotoclub. Nu is hij voorzitter van Foto Total. De onderwerpen van voorkeur zijn techniek en mobiliteit. Lenzen van voorkeur zijn de diagonale en circulaire fisheyes. Hoewel deze lenstypes doorgaans slechts in specifieke omstandigheden worden toegepast, gebruikt Martin ze in diverse situaties, soms humoristisch, maar meestal bloedernstig. |

was born in Tongeren and is living in Hasselt. Being
architect, he’s working as technical advisor Benelux
for an insulation manufacturer. He got a liking for
photography in the 90’s, making some trips abroad.
At the end of the 90’s he was chairman of another
photoclub, and actually chairman of Foto Total. Preferred subjects are technics and mobility. Preferred lenses are the diagonal and circular fisheyes. Although usually limited to specific situations, Martin is using them for very different purposes, being humorous in one case, but very seriously in most other cases. |
